Individual Progress Tutorial

• Possible case studies : Atelier Bingo, Supermundane and David Hockney. 
• 3 main points of discussion in essay : balance, unity and perspective. 
• Use Arnheim as primary theorist - support or deconstruct arguments with other theorists or artist practices. 
• Look at Swiss style and visit Cartwright Hall, Bradford to look at Hockneys. 
• Aim : Chapter 2 and 3 written by group tutorial on 20/11/17, and Chapter 3 planned. 
• Practical - draw a series of shapes inspired by manmade or natural objects, this could then become a distinct visual language to use in all of the images removing any variables that could tamper with judging as to whether they are balanced or harmonised.
